How rain occurs?

How rain work

What is rain, we all know very well, but have you ever wondered, how this occurred and what are the processes responsible for the formation of rain. The formation of rain follow a rain cycle that include the four major processes.

First process is evaporation.

In this process water present in sea, oceans and rivers become warm by sun heat and become vapour and go in upward direction.

Now second process is condensation.

The vapour which go upward become cool and again convert into liquid tiny water droplet.

Coalescence process :

This is a moment when tiny droplets or bubbles bump into each other and merge and become bigger and makes the cloud heavier.

Precipitation process :

This is the last process of rain cycle , in this process, that water droplet become too heavy that it become hard for air to hold, so gravity pull them and they fall as rain that we see. Sometime they fall in form of ice because of very low temperature.

One response

  1. This is a clear and concise explanation of the rain formation process! You’ve broken down the complex cycle into simple, easy-to-understand steps—evaporation, condensation, coalescence, and precipitation—making it accessible for anyone curious about how rain occurs. I appreciate the way you explained each stage with everyday language and examples, helping readers visualize the process. Well done!
